Forward-deployed engineers are the bridge between what a client needs and what we build. You will embed with a customer team, find the highest-leverage use case, and ship it, then iterate in production until it earns its place in their day.
It is part engineering, part product, part trusted advisor. You write real code and you also sit in the room where the work actually happens.
What you'll do
- Embed with client teams to map workflows and find where AI genuinely helps.
- Build and ship custom AI systems against real, messy, production data.
- Run tight feedback loops with users and iterate until adoption sticks.
- Translate field learnings back into our core platform and patterns.
- Be the technical face of arosplatforms in client working sessions.
What we're looking for
- 4+ years shipping software, with strong full-stack ability (TypeScript + Python).
- You enjoy ambiguity and client contact, and can lead a room without ego.
- Comfortable building with LLMs and integrating with third-party systems and APIs.
- Based in or near Toronto, able to be on-site with clients when it matters.
Nice to have
- Consulting, solutions-engineering, or startup-founder background.
- Experience with enterprise integrations (Salesforce, SAP, ServiceNow, etc.).
