Responsible AI Policy

The principles that guide how we design, build, and ship AI systems, for our clients and ourselves.

Last updated June 20, 2026

Our principles

We build AI that earns trust. That means systems that are useful, honest about their limits, safe under real conditions, and accountable to the people who rely on them. These principles shape every engagement.

Human oversight

We design for humans in the loop where decisions carry weight. Systems should make people more capable, show their reasoning and sources where it matters, and leave a clear path for a person to review, override, or escalate.

Evaluation and reliability

We treat quality as a moving target, not a launch-day checkbox. We build evaluation harnesses and observability so a system’s accuracy, behaviour, and failure modes are measured continuously, not assumed.

Data and privacy

We minimise the data a system needs, respect the boundaries of the data we are given, and deploy into the client’s own environment when that is the right way to protect it. We do not use one client’s data to benefit another.

Safety and security

We test adversarially. Prompt injection, data exfiltration, and abuse are part of how we evaluate a system before it ships, and we harden and monitor against them in production.

Fairness

We work to understand where a system could produce unfair or harmful outcomes for different groups, and we design, test, and document with those risks in mind. We are honest with clients about what a model can and cannot do well.

Accountability and governance

We help clients put clear ownership, documentation, and controls around their AI, and we align our work with recognised frameworks such as the NIST AI Risk Management Framework and the EU AI Act where they apply.

What we will not do

We decline work designed to deceive, manipulate, surveil unlawfully, or cause foreseeable harm. If an idea cannot be built responsibly, we say so.
